The material is made of polyester, cotton, and vinyl. It will deflate all the way.

This collar can be hand or machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water with mild detergent. Ensure all of the straps are secured before washing. Needs to dry flat.

This inflatable protective collar helps break the lick/bite and itch/scratch cycles that some pets with skin conditions prone to. Depending on how long their paws are from their eyes, they may be able to get to them. We'd suggest the Calm Paws Calming Dog E-Collar.

When they came home from the vet, I opened the boxes and none of the 3 boxes had a strap in, (as pictured when I ordered them). As a result, the puppies are able to take their back legs and flip the collars over their heads and get at their incision. I tried to snug the collars tighter but it was like choking them. I would NOT recommend these collars as they do NOT have the strap with the buckle as shown and they are easily removed
