Ingredients
Softwood (pine or fir), natural clumping agents, natural oil; NO WHEAT, CORN, OR SOY
Instructions
Add approximately 2-3 inches of Catalyst cat litter to a clean, dry litter box. Scoop out waste daily with a litter scoop and dispose of properly. Do a full clean out of the litter box and replace all the litter in the litter box with fresh litter at least once a month.
To start, open the Catalyst bag and set it next to your cat's litter box to allow them to smell it. Ideally, give them 2-3 days to get comfortable with the smell. One way to transition is to layer Catalyst litter with your current litter. Start with about 20% of Catalyst litter at the bottom of your litter box and top with your current litter. As you scoop, replace with only Catalyst, and slowly increase the amount of Catalyst litter in the box. Once you are ready to clean out your litter box, fill it completely with Catalyst. We recommend 7-10 days for the entire transition period, adding additional time if your cat is more sensitive to changes. Another method is to mix about 20% of Catalyst with your current litter. As you scoop, replace with Catalyst litter, mixing it in with your current litter as much as possible.

I have this litter in a box next to you, the tidy cats breeze pellets. My cat Princeton will not use the catalyst litter at all. He does not the scent. It’s not strong, but for a cat that has never been exposed to any scented litter, Imit is strong enough, I guess. I have another litter box upstairs that contains only pine pellets. This morning, he could not get access to the breeze box and instead of using the catalyst litter, he went all the way upstairs to use the other box. My other cat Grover is not as picky, but given a choice, he will use the breeze box instead of the catalyst litter. As far as how it works, I don’t have a problem with clumping. I learned that if I let it sit for about a day after Grover uses it, it hardens nicely enough. Not like clay, but enough that I can scoop it without it breaking apart. I’ve learned too to be gentle with scooping and that has helped tremendously. I’m going to see if I can find a way to mask the scent. I really want my cats to use this litter because it doesn’t track as much and compared to clay. It is so much easier to clean up also.

And the scent is really amazing. Before I bought this letter, my house always had that poopy cat box smell, very faint, but still there. Using this litter makes that smell go away. And the lack of dust is amazing. I hate the dust from cat litter and this has absolutely no dust to speak of. Will buy this forever as long as I have my kitties.

It’s so easy to clean up and there’s no bad stinky smell. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking to control the odor of other cat litter brands. You gotta give a try. I am going to make this an automatic shipment from now on.

It does track a bit but nothing like the cheap clay litter we were using before; it mostly gets caught in the litter mat we have outside the box. Our cat seems fine with it too, which is really the most important thing!

It sifts VERY slowly and you have to understand that before buying. If you shake it too much, the litter ball doesn’t stick together at timesI prefer to be patient and put their heath first. The litter lasts a long time. I have 2 cats and have 2 Giant litter boxes. I add a little to it mid month, but usually I get a month out of it before a complete change. Cleaning the bottom is not fun, as there’s a coating that gets slimy when you add water. But it’s nothing I haven’t dealt with before with some other litters. Tracks less than clay litters. Note- I have short hair cats.

Am so happy with this. We were struggling with the whole house smelling like a litter box and catalyst pine litter solved this issue. It clumps fine (I recommend the catalyst scoop to allow for easy scooping with this stuff), doesn’t track all over the house (sure there is still some right outside the box but our old cat is especially special). Smells great and thrilled to switch to something more environmentally beneficial.

That's in caps for a reason. Easy to clean, it does not stink, & less tracking (way less than everything else is tried). I'll be signing up for auto shipping. Y'all, I don't feel like a dirty person any longer. Lol

However, my mixed feelings pertain to the fact that the litter would stick to my cat’s paws and in turn, he tracked it everywhere he walked. Now granted, my cat has recently been diagnosed hyperthyroid, and this may have something to do with his frequent urination but I ended up switching to another product.
