Instructions
Add approximately 1 inch of Catalyst Pet pellet cat litter to a clean, dry litter box. Scoop out solid waste daily, taking care to avoid removing fresh pellets. Liquid waste will cause the pellets to break down into sawdust. To keep the litter box fresh, gently shake the litter box to allow the sawdust to settle at the bottom, revealing fresh pellets on top. Replace the entire contents of the litter box when you have used up all of the fresh pellets.
Start with a layer of Catalyst litter in the box. Top with an equal layer of your existing litter. With each box change (~every 2 weeks) increase the amount of Catalyst and add less of the old litter. This transition should take 3-4 litter box changes (~1.5-2 months) for the process to be complete. Alternatively, you can gradually incorporate Catalyst litter with a mix-in method. Each time you scoop the old litter, mix in a handful of Catalyst pellets and continue this until the pellets have completely replaced all of the old litter. For optimal results, completely clean out the box halfway through (when you reach a 1:1 ratio), refill box with the 1:1 ratio, and continue to scoop and replace as needed.

Sharp, uneven pellets were painful just to look at

I was excited to finally see a manufacturer making small pellet for once until I received this litter and opened the box only to discover that it was leaking out of several holes caused by the sharp and uneven texture of the pellets. The jagged edges and damaged packaging immediately caused me to discard it because there was no way, in good conscience, I could have my fur baby stepping on those to go potty. To the manufacturer of this product, PLEASE sand down and polish the edges of these pellets. I can't imagine the pain paws would feel on these.
awesome odor control

my cat doesn't like it.
I do not like it at all. You cannot scoop out clumps because pellets are so large. I guess you are supposed to start over new every day. That would be very expensive

Also my cat doesnt like it. she will not even scratch and cover her poop. I mixed it with my old litter and she still will not. I will not ever buy this again!
Love Catalyst but hate the pellets
Very disappointed in this-meant to order the soft wood I bought before which I think is amazing. Accidentally bought the pellets but won’t make the mistake again
Very disappointed in this-meant to order the soft wood I bought before which I think is amazing. Accidentally bought the pellets but won’t make the mistake again. The cats are using it, but it seems very wasteful. Love the soft unscented wood, but not this. It was my error.
Pellet cat litter
Not so messy. It doesn’t end up all over the floor. A lot neater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that there are now many natural options for cat litter such as this pine one. It is pretty low dust and does a good job of trapping in urine odors. Sadly, it doesn’t do as well of a job at keeping poop smell trapped. Also, it is not a great option if your cat has loose stools such as mine sometimes does since the pellets don’t stick that well to it. I do believe the brand offers a clumping option which might be a better choice for my household. I don’t know how well this litter would be tolerated by a cat with sensitive paws since the pellets are quite hard. Overall, a solid choice if your cats don’t have any problems with it. This litter would be great paired with a sifting litter box.
Pleasantly surprised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using non-clumping litter and it worked way better than I expected. I have three cats, and they started using the new litter right away. The pellets that were urinated on just broke down into more of a sandy consistency and had no odor. My cats don’t bother to bury their poop, so it was easy to scoop up. I’ve been using this litter for a week and it’s been easy to clean, and I think the odor is down quite a bit. I love that it is natural and doesn’t track everywhere. My cats don’t smell like litter after a visit either, that’s a huge plus. Overall, this is definitely worth a try and a switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, none of my three cats would go near the litter boxes when I tried this. I didn’t want to risk out-of-box accidents by switching all of them at once, so I ended up stopping after several days. Maybe it works better for cats who were raised using pellets or non-traditional litter? That said, it’s definitely worth trying to see if your cats will accept it. It’s a much more environmentally friendly option, and it made the house smell like fresh pine, which was actually nice. If you have a cat with dust issues, this produced no dust at all.
