Does this contain stems? Is it fine grind? I find most catnip, even expensive brands, have stems that are sharp and cut my skin when I try to roll between my fingers, so I'm sure it hurts my cat's mouth.

This product contains both leaves and flowers. Due to this, stems may be in the mix.

The winter blahs visit my cat sometimes, just like me. As soon as the bag opened he came running like a kitten. I put a pinch here and there. He rolled in it, played, ate some. He loves it. As he is older he can become anxious more often. The cat nip just totally relaxes him.

He smelled it as soon as I opened it, licked some of the little pinch he got, acted cute for a few seconds including rolling over and discovering his tail, licked up the rest and... that was it. In a refillable toy it might be better.
