What is the source of the lavender scent?

The litter is made from pea husk and natural ingredients, ensuring it poses no health risk to cats. Catit uses a proprietary blend of food-grade pigment and scent, not essential oils. Their Lavender litter is dyed with a food-grade pigment, giving it its purple color. The scent is synthetic and constitutes less than 1% of the mix, masking the naturally sour smell of pea husk. This scent is noticeable when the air-sealed bag is first opened but dissipates quickly once dispensed into the litter box. The lavender is added in an extremely low amounts (>1%). There is only enough to keep your litter box and room smelling fresh and won’t harm pets at all.

This litter is perfectly flushable since its clumps dissolve in water. It is recommended to dispose of cat droppings in the waste bin.

I must say, I was sceptical about ordering this but it is the BEST!!! It’s true what they say- no dust, no tracking, very soft pleasant scent. And the cats adjusted

Who doesn’t love a purple litter box? Lavender smell is not over-powering, which is a pro in my opinion. Love that it’s dust-free. Happy we made the switch from clay litter. Our cat had no issues transition. We are hooked!

I have tried a few brands of litter and as far as I’m concerned, this is the best! I was concerned initially that this would be expensive over time, but now I am no longer concerned. It is so convenient to have it delivered in the compact box. The inner compressed packaging surprised me but was easy to deal with and quickly revealed how much there actually was. It has good odour control . I have recommended it to friends and family .

The best cat litter

The headline says it all. This is the only kind of litter I'll ever buy from now on. It does an amazing job at completely suppressing odor, and it's much lighter

The headline says it all. This is the only kind of litter I'll ever buy from now on. It does an amazing job at completely suppressing odor, and it's much lighter weight than clay based stuff. It lasts a long time as well before needing to be completely changed. The scent of the litter isn't overwhelming either, so your cat will like it too. It is very much worth trying

Thought it was too good to be true

Most of the reviews on here, and on Amazon, say that this litter smells great, clumps well, tracks less, and does a better job at preventing smell than clay litter

Most of the reviews on here, and on Amazon, say that this litter smells great, clumps well, tracks less, and does a better job at preventing smell than clay litter (we used to use Arm & Hammer multi-cat, and Tidy Cats LightWeight multi-cat). I was doubtful at first, but decided to take the chance because I liked that it's more eco-friendly than clay litter. I'm happy to say that all of the above is true, and that the purple colour makes the litter box so much more visually pleasing lol. I haven't found the litter to stick to the pan, but tbf my cats don't really pee on the walls or corners of the litter box. Overall, I'm super happy that I switched to this litter, and I've found that it really lasts a long time even with 2 cats. I don't even use a box a month - I'd say it lasts for 2 months or more for us. IMO, the only con is that you have to be a bit more careful to shake out the loose pellets when you're scooping, but it's very easy to do so if you have a scoop that has long slats cutouts, and not round holes.
