does it have a handle to carry
Are the measurements posted the external measurements of the box in its entirety, or the internal measurements of the tray?
I've read that the filter should be placed on the inside, top, under where the handle is. How does it stay up there?

Good quality litter box, but....

Our new cat took to this new litter box right away, and the quality of the plastic is ok. BUT, it loses a star because the handle is too flimsy and would never support the weight of it with litter in it when I move it to clean spilled litter. Since it's for a new young cat, I took the door flap off too, because it seems to get stuck a little. Given the price point, I purchased it at Christmas sale time, I would buy it again.
The swing door does not work.
The swing door gets stuck inside the box once the cat goes into and the swing door is bigger than the space therefore will not be able to swing back out. I ordered

Unusable Cat Trap
The design/manufacture of the large model of this litter pan is severely flawed. When correctly assembled, the swinging door rubs so badly along the bottom threshold
The design/manufacture of the large model of this litter pan is severely flawed. When correctly assembled, the swinging door rubs so badly along the bottom threshold and sides that it would be nearly impossible for any cat to push the door inward to enter the box. Similarly, with the door hanging on the inside of the box, it would be virtually impossible for a cat to push it back outward to escape. I’d previously purchased the jumbo size Catit litter box and found that its door also rubbed an along the bottom just slightly. That problem was easily remedied, however, by propping up the top pop-up section ever so slightly. The only way to make this model usable would be to remove the swinging door entirely. That “solution” is unsatisfactory in our particular situation, however, so we have requested a refund and will resume our quest for a well designed, roomy litter box.

RETURNING REASON ONE: The lowest part of the entrance is 7" in height. My current enclosed litter box has a "dip" in the entrance area. This lowers the entrance
RETURNING REASON ONE: The lowest part of the entrance is 7" in height. My current enclosed litter box has a "dip" in the entrance area. This lowers the entrance part to 4" in height. The higher the entrance, the more difficult it is for an elderly cat to use the product. RETURNING REASON TWO: The swinging door connected to the top of the hood, the top of the hood and the handle are bound to break and become a hassle.

What I love the most about the Catit litter boxes is that you can get to the messy stuff with the opening on top of the box. Makes things so easy. Great litter box!

It’s a good litter box for its price, some unavoidable flaws though.

This litter box is the perfect size for my cat, good design and spacious. One big flaw is that it’s hard for him to go in and out because the door keeps getting stuck to the bottom step of the litter box (I quickly fixed the issue by placing a piece of cardboard to keep the door slightly lifted). It’s an annoying flaw but I already bought and used it, so no point in returning it. 5/10 I wouldn’t recommend buying this box again.
