How often is it recommended the carbon pad be replaced?

It is recommended to replace the filter every 3-4 months, depending upon how often the cat uses the litter box.
I'm looking to find a filter that fits a hooded litter box and the filter size needs to be about 10" x 7.5" x 0.5"

The product's dimensions are 6 x 1 x 7.9 inches. The Catit Hooded Cat Pan Replacement Carbon Pads are direct replacement filter pads designed to fit all Catit Hooded Cat Pans.

Not true. After seeing extremely low ratings in reviews, I decided to contact Chewy. Spoke to CSR and knew would not fit the Catit airsift jumbo box. Amazon: SAMANIJA 12 pack dual action air purifier pads are the exact size needed.
