Love it! I am glad I went with the jumbo size for my two cats. It’s huge and the biggest litter box I’ve ever had - I like how wide it is rather than being super long. My cats have two litter boxes and this is one of them. They prefer this one. It’s big enough for them to move around and not feel cramped. For reference, they are 8 pound and 10 pound cats. One of my cats fling litter everywhere while digging and used to jump out of the litter box while flinging litterbut I don't have that problem anymore. I also got a bigger litter tracking mat and it’s been life-changing. I took off the door and opened the hatch with the air filter because the cats might get scared of the door flipping back and forth when they enter or they might avoid using it if they feel trapped. It’s heavy with litter in it but manageable if you remove the top portion. Highly recommend.

Ok it's pretty good. Then my cat developed some urinary issue and I wonder if the lif bothered him a little. I don't lock the lid but just lift it off everyday to scoop and I don't use the bag dock. He had no problem (5kg Tabby Maine mr Warren) pushing though the flap and although he'd not had a lid he seemed unbothered. After 6 weeks (food change, location to my house) he seemed to pee right at the edge and some pee would drip onto the lip and Matt I keep below. Warren is 5kg. I bought another Jumbo sized one for my wife's Duman- ill review that later. If your cat is medium without a lid problem this box works quite well..air filters in lid work well too. Where can we buy them in quantity? Pete

I recently adopted two cats and wanted to transition them to a closed litter box. I've had many cats before, and none of them ever had an issue using them. This model is a great size, and I like the locking mechanism, but the flap is very poorly designed! The plastic door is just a tad too long, so that the door won't easily open out. My cats can go in no problem, but unless they really push hard with their head, they can't get back out easily, so they stopped using it :( I tried filing down the plastic, but I don't have the proper tools to make a big enough difference. Now the box is uselessly sitting in the corner of my living room. I'm not sure if I received a defective product, but please ensure you test it thoroughly before setting it up for use.

They are easy to clean too because the entire front flap opens making it quite easy. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried a LOT of litter boxes in 5 decades with over 60 cats. This box is VERY nice. Size, Ease of Cleaning Via Fold Back Door & Lid, Ez carry Handle, Odor Control Pack which cats cannot reach & destroy like other filters. If you choose not to purchase the compartment is sealed, thus no wafting odors through empty filter compartment We’ve had no trouble with door function. If it were to stick I’d try spraying with pet safe silicone spray Door is useful for cats who stand and send urine streaming out the opening of covered litter box or high sided box. As of yet have had no issues with leakage. IF we do then a Made in USA pee pad placed underneath will easily solve that problem I use metal litter scoops as I find plastic too lightweight & worthless. I put several inches of litter in my boxes, then there is no scraping off the bottom. Maybe that’s why there’s no leakage so far at seams. Tilt the box, litter flows to one side revealing the clumps. Obviously I hold box from bottom so as not to break plastic that’s not designed for lifting heavily laden box.

This box is the best box I have used so far and the only reason I am giving it four stars is because of a slight design flaw. The box itself is well made and a lot of thought went into the process of it gets five stars!!! The entrance/exit is where the flaw is at because it traps the cat outside/inside the box. They either need the make the lid slightly higher to make up for the size of the door flap or make the door flap shorter. I have a temporary fix with something wedge in the slat/track on the top of the box (where the door rests) to keep the door up high enough. Other than that the box is amazing and I'll be keeping it and getting another in the future when I need to get a new one. Highly doubt I will need a new one because it's pretty heavy duty. Hope they fix the flaw though!

Apparently, the people at CatIt forgot that some owners like to use litterbox liners in their cat's potty box. So, you have to cut holes into the liner to be able to slide the very poorly designed locks. The locks themselves are very hard to slide, even without a liner. Was this the cheapest design for locks? Why couldn't they design something that actually worked? Do not move this box by the handle if it's full of litter with the lid on. You'll be very sorry. Maybe next time they should get an actual cat owner to help them with design.
