Our first one of these worked great. Bought a second for another room and almost right away it had an issue where the water for some reason does not flow back into

Bought a second for another room and almost right away it had an issue where the water for some reason does not flow back into the container but overflows outside of it. Thought maybe I got a lemon because we loved the first one, so bought a third, but it has the same problem. :(

Technically works but impossible to clean
This fountain is functional, but the design makes it extremely difficult to clean. Combined with cheap plastic, in my experience it became a petri dish very quickly

We had a cat that loved to dig in water or tip her bowl, and struggled to find a bowl that would prevent it. Chewy recommended this one and it immediately solved

Old reliable
I gave our old Catit Flower away. I had ordered a dishwasher-safe stainless fountain from another brand, which I thought would be healthier than plastic and easier
I gave our old Catit Flower away. I had ordered a dishwasher-safe stainless fountain from another brand, which I thought would be healthier than plastic and easier. WRONG. Disaster. I didn't know how good I had it cleaning the Catit Flower until faced with an overcomplicated alternative that had three times as many pieces, many of which brushes couldn't penetrate. I spent a half hour cleaning that thing every week, then spent the next six days dreading having to do it again. Ordered another Catit Flower and am never looking back.

The pump did not have enough to push the water up

Bought one of these a while ago because my cat wasn't drinking from her water bowl- it functioned well enough that she would use it (hence the two stars) but I would save yourself the money and buy a more expensive one. My first issue may be more personal as my cat is a bit skittish, but she was too afraid to drink from any of the flow settings besides the most basic without the white flower or yellow center for the flower. This setting is less intense, but to the point that she could barely even find the water. 90% of the time the water would just be a single stream somewhere on the entire green circle, it frustrated my cat to the point that she wouldn't even try to use the fountain unless I sat with her and pointed directly to where the water was. I tried to adjust power that the fountain was getting by switching to an outlet vs a surge protector and changing adapters but the pump was still just way too weak. I did clean the pump as well. Second issue is that the structure of the fountain makes it so awful to wash. Cleaning it is easy enough as it doesn't get particularly dirty, but the sheer amount of parts and crevices paired with the plastic material makes getting all of the soap off after washing a huge pain. I would probably spend 10 minutes washing this fountain every other day, 6 of those 10 minutes just trying to make sure I got all of the soap off. Towards the end when I gave up on this fountain, add an extra 3 minutes for when I started plugging it in after washing just to test that there was no soap still in it so I could fix it then rather than giving it to my cat and have her just not touch it. Additionally, these filters were super frustrating because it doesn't matter how well you rinse them, there would be charcoal dusting the entire fountain the next day after starting a new filter. I only complain about this because the fountain I just bought does not have that issue at all. If someone is looking for a water fountain, my advice is to get one that has as few parts as possible, and is easy to clean. A water level window and adjustable flow feature would be helpful too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this water fountain, in part, because one of my cats keeps putting his paws in his regular water bowl and spilling it on the floor for fun. When I received the fountain, I immediately looked at the directions. I was relieved it was an easy assembly because the directions are a nightmare to navigate through. Everything else has been great with the product. I love the extra-large water reservoir and that it sits a good bit higher than a regular water bowl. There have been no more spills, and the cats really love it. My one concern is the included water filter and the ability to easily order replacements for it in the future.
