This has hard/rigid plastice bristles that are the same plastic as the rest of the unit. It would be pretty sharp/rough for a hairless cat.

My cat loves this thing!

This self groomer is great, my cat really loves it! I attached it to the leg of my desk using those 3M velcro strips, works perfect.

You know that you made a good purchase when your fur baby makes calming sounds while using what you purchased. I can't buy more at this time. Happy Christ day... After the bday and man made holidays I will get her two more. See how she does with them in different directions. High, med, low level. I hope your fur baby loves it as much as mine. You can enjoy the calming sounds as it's being used. Laugh with your mate cause you know, this is not just adorable it's funny too.

I haven't had any issues, and my cat absolutely loves it. If it came with screws, I'd give it 5 stars, but because it only includes useless adhesive strips, that knocks it down to 4.

I just received this item that is supposed to stick to a corner for your cats to rub against it. Well it doesn't have the correct angle to stick against a normal corner made of sheetrock. I'd have to put it in a doorway to fit, but then you cannot shut the door. The only way to get this to fit is to screw a thin layer of wood to the corner and then attach the groomer to that. It's sad because my cat does seem to want to rub against it
