[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little mushroom is too cute. My cat plays with it often and I like that it has a motion sensor, it reminds her to play when she walks by it, she can't seem to resist batting at it. I will say, although it's not really loud, it is a little startling when you're not used to the noise. It has been entertaining to see her pop straight up in the air when it starts up on it's own. When we first put it out, one of my dogs was also quite curious and unsure of it. He wouldn't take his eyes off it until he was certain it wasn't going to harm his kitty sister. I would definitely recommend it, she loves it and it's just as simple as popping some batteries in it and you don't have to do anything else. It's very stable, it doesn't topple over or move around everywhere. It also can't get knocked under the furniture which is lovely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats were fascinated with this toy when they saw it. Leo has continued to show the most interest in it and plays with it the most. We turn it on for the cat's at home sometimes during the day and every evening. Its definitely a pro to have the option of the sensor or always on and we use the sensor option the most to extend the life of the batteries. Leo sits by it and waits for us to turn it on for him. He loves watching for the feather to pop out of the different holes and tries very hard to grab it. The one con that I have seen so far, is the cats tip it upside down a lot. Its the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The price is higher for a cat toy but its well made and you can buy replacement feathers if needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It did take me a couple of minutes to figure out how to orient the feathers inside - when I first tried it the orientation was wrong and the feathers were never actually extending outside the toy. However, once I got that figured out it is really cool how it randomly emerges from the holes on both the top and the bottom. I really thought this toy was going to be awesome entertainment for my cats. Even though one of my cats managed to catch the feathers and pull them out of the toy in the first 10 minutes of use, for the most part it moves fast enough it is difficult for them to grab. But after having it a bit of time my cats seem to have mostly lost interest. I think the fact that it does move fast so they can't ever really "catch" the feathers causes them to get frustrated and walk away. One of my cats still shows some interest but he only watches - he no longer tries to catch the feathers. I do like the fact that it has both "always on" and a "motion activated" modes. I am using the "motion activated" mode to conserve battery. The motion detection seems to be activated easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got this toy I put batteries in it and turned it on for my cat. It took her some time to figure it out, but after about a day she started to play with it a little bit. It doesnt keep her attention long though. I think one of the reasons is because the feather in it moves too fast. There isn't any way to change the speed of it. It may not be a big hit with my cat, but other than that issue it feels sturdy, isn't too loud, and is very cute
