I will start by saying that the product itself is well made and easy to assemble, it is a great size that is easy to accommodate in a small space. The reason that I do not recommend this is that it feels like something that was designed by someone who doesn't know what cats actually enjoy. There is not much fabric for cats to hook into to help them get to the top, so they need to make a straight jump up - which is difficult for both of my cats. I thought I was clever for getting a cat tree not made from cardboard and particle board, thinking it would last longer and be easy to maintain (and in theory, it would)...I neglected to consider how my cats would interact with it. With all that said, they still enjoy the lower areas! I would recommend waiting for the product to go on sale if you are considering making the purchase
