I know the platforms are fiberboard, but are the posts, too? Or are they cardboard wrapped in the rope?

The posts are made of cardboard and seagrass rope.

Can this be assembled with the condo door panel facing the platform instead of facing forward?

The holes in the boards are too big for the provided screws. I tried both sides and neither one fits the screws it says in the photos to use. They just fall out

They enjoy sleeping in the cubes or on top of the towers. They are easier to keep clean than a carpeted tower.

First, the instructions weren't immediately easy to follow; I had to start over and dismantle a bit. Second, the enclosed box portion of the tree has a smallish opening that is not convenient for the cats to enter. My cats tried it once and never went back. They only visit the tree sometimes, to climb when zooming or to eat the hanging wicker balls. I rate it a 2 because of its high-quality construction and appearance, but limited usability and appeal to its intended audience. I do not recommend.
