are these crunchy treats?

These treats are crunchy.

What is the sodium content of these treats?

Originally posted and answered on chewy.com
Answer by FranchescaMNov 23, 2021
These treats have salt added at a very low level. Salt is about 1/3 sodium. The Cheese & Egg flavor is slightly higher in salt/sodium due to the naturally occurring salt in cheese. To ingest 1 gram of sodium, your dog would have to eat more than half a bag of treats and over a full bag of the other flavors at one time. If you are concerned about your dog's sodium intake, we recommend consulting with a veterinarian before feeding this treat.

Are these safe for dogs? Garlic powder is listed as an ingredient, but I thought garlic was toxic for dogs

Many people believe that garlic is harmful to dogs, and in large, concentrated doses this can be true. However, in the proportions that are used, it simply contributes to the flavor dogs love. Just like with humans, many things are healthy (and indeed necessary) in small doses but potentially harmful in large, concentrated doses.

Are these ok for puppies?

It's recommended to wait until at least 12 weeks of age before using any type of treat, and consulting with your veterinarian about appropriate treats for the specific breed, size and age of your puppy. It is always important to observe your puppy when giving a treat to see if they are chewing and swallowing properly.

Small and easy to use

These small treats are great for big dogs on a diet. It makes them think they're getting more calories than they are- even if you give them 2 or 3!

Best low calorie reward

Our 3 labs and little havanese LOVE these little crunchy treats. Since they are only 1 calorie we can reward them without having any guilt.

Love these!

To be honest this is a low value treat but Risky likes them and I love that they are only 3 calories each and last forever after bag is opened.

These are great treats and not too high in calories. Our vet even commented on them when I handed her one to make our new guy like her. They aren’t too hard or crumbly if you want to break apart for smaller dogs and they are smooth so you can carry some on walks without getting a bunch of crumbs or dust in your pocket.

Great treat

These are wonderful treats to take on walks. Our dog is treat driven, so when she does things right she can be rewarded with out a lot of calories.
