Are these chews appropriate for chihuahuas (5-8 lbs.)?

According to vet nutritional guidelines that I've read, a dog's treats should be no more than 10% of their daily calories. For example, if your chihuahua eats only, say, around 250 calories/day, then their treats should only be up to 25 calories total (and the rest of their food 225 calories).

could you tell me what the protein percentage is?

This treat has a protein content of 13% minimum on a guaranteed analysis.

Where is the beef sourced from? Are these are made in Canada

He sits and waits patiently for me to open the bag and then will do any tricks for his crumps. Sometimes, I don't even say anything, and he'll laydown, rollover and sit. Thinking that it's what I wanted him to do. LOL

I tried these Crumbs Sweet Potato Chews sprinkled with Liver Powder for the first time this month. The first thing I noticed upon opening the bag was that these treats were EXTREMELY hard, and some were as small as a half dollar, and others two and three inches long. I decided to try the small piece with my 75 pound Labrador Retriever, and thank goodness I stayed with him. Within 3 seconds after chewing, he swallowed the piece and began to choke!!!! Fortunately, I was able to get him to vomit. I threw the entire bag in the trash immediately after this horrible experience! My poor boy!!!
