I started Flynn on the Purina Puppy Chow complete Chicken. He always ate it fine. When switching him over I mixed the puppy with the dog chow complete chicken. He ate it fine. We’re on the 2nd bag of the dog chow complete chicken. Most days he doesn’t eat any of his food in his bowl. I wonder if they changed something in how they process it. I’m trying to decide what to switch him to without upsetting his stomach.

I love Purina. I usually get Purina pro plan or Purina one and my dogs have never had any issues before. Until I switched to Purina dog chow. I only did this because of my financial situation since I know how bad other brands are. Im not sure if I just got 2 bad batches or what but the last 2 bags I bought my dogs are going downhill digestive wise. Im in the animal field so I know what I'm talking about. When I walked in to see this I immediately thought PARVO. It smelt like parvo, looked like parvo, it was bad. So I panicked. I thought it was my youngest but it turned out to be my great pyr. I thought it was my youngest because he's not fully potty trained. So surely my other 3 older dogs that are potty trained wouldnt have an accident. Until I watch it come out of her. I rushed her to the vet. Did test, all came back negative. Did x-ray, nothing but a slightly inflamed stomach. Went home with meds. Switched to rice. She wouldn't eat this for nothing. Other 3 are eating it though. So she had an egg and rice diet for about a week. Started slowly adding the dry food back in and switched to a different bag. She started eating it by itself. Poop was back to normal. So naturally I thought okay it's just that bag. Nope! Today I found another pile of that parvo looking poop in the bedroom again. And I have watched my other 3 and their poop is soft but not like this so I know it's her again. Immediately switching back to rice and Fortiflora. My other 3 are now all eating grass along with her. So, we will we be switching.
