Mix a small amount of the new litter in with the old litter, gradually increasing the amount over the course of a week or two. Keep an eye on your cat's behavior and make sure they're using the litter box regularly.

We switched to this litter after previously using freshstep multi cat. I like that this is fragrance free. It clumps the best out of all litters we have tried, no broken pieces that get left in the litter when scooping. So in that way it does make it much longer lasting. Low odor, but I do find I have to add a litter deodorizer (Frag.Free w/ zeolite..) Price is good. My only complaint is the packaging. Not super convenient if you don’t use up the whole bag at once.

Am i the only one struggling to move or pick up the 40 lb bag of this stuff? Lol. The weight aside, this litter works well to cover the smells, is low dust and low tracking, and clumps hard... Very hard. When i clean the box in the morning and evening the clumps are like concrete and hard to scrape off my plastic box (you definitely need a stainless steel box for this clay litter) which is why i took a star off. Aurora didn't have an issue with this litter, but ClawDia didn't like using it. I think it hurts her joints, as she has arthritis. For that reason alone i will probably be trying a different, softer litter. This is the best and healthiest brand of clay litter, though.

Concrete clumping
Great product, we were using the crushed walnut style litter but it has been underwhelming lately so we tried this, it clumps amazingly, turns their waste to concrete

No mess or foul smells
Using the rococo and roxie litter deodorizer and the alzoo makes it last longer and I always buy a large box of baking soda for daily sprinkles when when daily cleaning
