These chews are created without adding any additional sodium or salt, therefore the sodium/salt content is only what occurs naturally per ingredient. While Earth Animal does not test the sodium content of all their chews, they have found on average the sodium level in their No-Hides is about 0.10%.

These chews are a great option for puppies 6 months or older. It is recommended that all dogs and puppies be supervised when they are enjoying a chew of any kind.

One of my cats has urinary issues, so he really isn't supposed to eat anything outside of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food/treats. He is also a MAJOR chewer, to the point where he will ingest things like silvervine sticks that are sometimes more a part of a toy than something intended to be eaten. I got these in the hopes that this would be a nice treat for him to chew on without beavering through. Both of my cats show interest in these sticks, but it is for a short time, and it is to bat them around, not chew on them. These are too expensive to be a toy that lasts a few minutes until it disappears under a piece of furniture.

I'm not saying they have to be super bit but a little more uniformity would be nice. In my mind they were a little pricy when they were decent size. I won't pay the price for so many skinnies in the package.

I have a cat who loves chewing. We started buying these about a year ago and he really enjoys them. A great alternative to chewing on his brother! For months, he wasn’t interested in them unless we were holding it for him, but recently he’s gotten on a kick where he’s independently chewing through a stick a week. I toss the stick when it gets too short (I don’t want him to swallow it). I’m glad these are out there for cats like mine.

My cats licked at it and eventually gave up. So they liked the flavor and smell, but it's definitely more fit for dogs.
