They are SUPER hard and crunchy, almost impossible for me to even break into smaller pieces. Seems like more of texture for a medium/large dog instead of kitty teeth.

When mixed with the cat's saliva they become extremely slippery leaving the cat unable to break it apart or expel it. If I wasn't there my cat may have tried to swallow it. The length and curve could have been deadly.

The sticks are too dense and hard. My tuxedo cat, that has a large pointed mouth, tried to break and eat them. But he couldn't. However, he loves the regular Emerald
