I purchased these so my cat Finny would chew them, he swallows greenies, and any other treat whole! I thought this larger size treat would do the trick as I wanted something that would help clean his teeth as he chewed. He tried one but because he couldn’t swallow it whole, he won’t eat them.

I normally don't buy dental treats that aren't VOHC approved, but my cat would just swallow those treats whole, which obviously wasn’t helping keep his teeth clean. I do like these because the size and the way they’re shaped make it so he HAS to chew it. I probably won’t be buying these again though, because of the fact that they’re not VOHC approved, because there’s no actual proof that these clean teeth. But if you don’t care about that and your cat keeps swallowing the other dental treats whole, I would definitely recommend these.

My cat wants to eat these but after trying several times, he ends up dropping them and leaving. I understand the large size is to clean their teeth and I like the idea but no good for him bc I have to break it up and since they’re so hard, it’s not easy

One of my cats has to be on all things grain and dairy free or else he throws up. Wasn't sure if he would like these, but to my delight and his, he likes them! My only constructive note is that they are a little too big. My cats can't fit a whole one in their mouth, so my girl cat leaves them alone all together after she first tried to eat it. Thankfully, she can eat other treats. My boy cat (who needs grain free), just chews it up bit by bit and usually leaves a little behind. But he still gets excited for them. Glad to finally have a treat for him, because he takes medicine and now I can use it as a reward for after his pill.

My cat loves these dental treats and I love that they are big and hard! He has to chomp on them 7-8 times which my Vet tells me is what cleans their teeth. When I give him the Greenies Dental Treats he chomps maybe once and sometimes I think he swallows them whole!

I have three cats. All of them love these treats, though one of them is unable to chew it. The other two chew them & they really seem to be keeping their teeth cleaner than before using them. They are very hard, but the two who can eat these love them. The one who can't chew it will try to eat it. She likes licking off the flavor on the outside, even though she can't bit into them.
