There is no beef gelatin in the Peanutty Twizzies. None of the Emerald Pet treats contain beef products.

What is chicken meal made up of?

Chicken meal is made up of chicken that has been ground and cooked, reducing the fat content to create a protein-rich ingredient. It’s high in protein and amino acids to help strengthen and maintain your pet’s muscles. It’s also a high-quality source of glucosamine for joint health. Chicken meal does not include feathers, heads, feet or entrails.

My dog absolutely loved these and I love the fact that they're made in the USA without rawhide or a lot of extra ingredients. BUT, my 10 yo, 12 lb pug who is missing five teeth ate the chew in less than two minutes. I was really hoping for something that would occupy him a bit longer. I wouldn't call these "long lasting".

Our little gal loves these treats. I bought the first on as an impulse buy, and so thankful I did. They have all natural ingredients and give her hours of chewing!

She loves them and will bring me the little end nub to trade for a new one. They are edible and don't smell horrible like some things do. There are some treats I can't stand to have in the same room as me.
