The Air & Gamefowl recipe has a dry matter composition of 42.21% protein, 47.54% fat, 3.21% fiber, and 5.74% carbohydrates. It also contains 0.78% calcium, 0.78% phosphorus, 1.27% potassium, 0.12% magnesium, and 0.53% sodium.

Does this product contain any traces of raw food in it? I have a cat with an immune disorder.

This recipe or any of the Essence recipes do not contain any traces of raw food. The mixture is cooked at such a high temperature, that it would be impossible for anything raw to be remaining. They also have a 3-step cleaning process to avoid any bit of cross-contamination and their Quality Control teams check/test each batch before it leaves manufacturing.

The magnesium content of this formula in a dry matter basis is 0.03% and the Ash content is 1.1% on a dry matter basis.

One of the best wet cat foods

My cats love this brand and has great quality ingredients, one of the best quality Chewy Canada sells. It needs to be introduced gradually if your cat is not used

I started with a small amount, added to a usual food they eat; my older cat had no interest, my younger cat ate it but regurgitated all of it 30 mins later. I tried again on another occasion and again my older cat ran away from it, my younger cat ate it but an hour later threw it all up. I tried it one last time, again mixed in with usual food, and now the younger cat was put off by it. It is a shame since this seems like a really high quality food, but my cats just do not tolerate it.

My cat isn’t picky at all, and will eat almost anything. I bought this together with Inception fish recipe, and she likes that one, but won’t touch this one. Gives it a few sniffs and then walks away. I tried heating it up to make it more enticing and even mixing it with the Inception fish recipe to get her to eat it. No dice. Won’t touch it if there’s even a trace of the food in there. It’s a real shame as it looks like a very good quality food.
