We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

My cattle dog mix really liked this food flavor wise and he definitely did well on it. More energy shiney coat ect. However the food pieces are on the larger side

While my dog occasionally ignored or didn't enjoy his meals with Purina Pro Plan, he is absolutely loving Eukanuba. The moment I pour it into his bowl, he eagerly starts eating, finishing every last bit. It's clear that the flavor and texture of Eukanuba are much more appealing to him. My Border Collie does great on this food and loves it - has been very consistent. My only complaint is that it only comes in a 28lb bag and that lasts a long time
