Transition Instructions

When introducing a pet to a new food, we recommend a gradual change over a 10 day period. Start by feeding 90% of their old food and 10% of Fancy Feast. Each day, increase their portion of Fancy Feast by 10%, while decreasing their old food until 100% of their meal consists of their new food.

Ever since our once-feral cat, Ripley, joined the pack (6 years ago), there has been disagreement amongst the three as to what dinner should be. The boys, Benji and Diesel, will eat anything. Ripley, however, has proven quite finicky in her dinner choice, settling on just gravy. They all get kibble but as adults, they need more moisture for those aging kidneys. They’ve had the expensive stuff yet still no agreement. Our vet said, “Fancy Feast is good food, too.” Enter Fancy Feast grilled salmon for Gravy Lovers, tried first on Ripley. She ate more than just the gravy! Then the boys pretty much inhaled it. So even for finicky kitties, problem solved!
