Let's be honest: Fancy Feast has been my go-to cat food for twenty years. Ever since the pandemic, the quality has been awful. Chewy routinely refund the cost of things the cats (two different breeds) won't eat, but no one seems to tell Ralston Purina that the product is now unfair for consumption by any animal. One of my cats will eat anything - one sniff if this stuff (doesn't really matter which flavor) and she turns around and walks away, or else tries to bury it..... For a while I was having luck with Medleys Florentine. But they've changed thecrevipu and the cats both walk away. Sometimes it smells like cooked spoiled meat; other times it simply smells like 95% liver or kidneys. I'm going to have to look for something different. But, Chewy, please tell the VP at Ralston Purina to stopp cheapening this product.

Same as the other one. Every time I order a case or two, my cats either run from the smell or eat it up. way, I always have to cut it now. Where is I never did before. Either machines are not maintained or they are no longer in the correct slicing mode. I have three domestic cats and no one, including myself could’ve eaten the large amount of cuts of whatever meat is in there without cutting it up with afork and knife. Very inconvenient.

My cats sense something is off with this food. Not sure what has happened to it, but my cats, who have eaten FF for years, will not eat most of the flavors now. When I open a can, no matter what flavor it is, they all look exactly the same. No change in color or texture, which makes me wonder what they’re putting in it. My cats sniff the food and walk away. It’s like they know something isn’t right. I’ve spent thousands on this brand, but that’s about to change.

Ugh. Again with the inedibly oversized chunks.

Another case of food that hasn't been properly shredded, so that there are big hunks that my feline friends won't eat. Is there no quality control at Fancy Feast?

I would like them to want something else, like Iams pate all the time, but they started with this and still want it. They sometimes leave a lot of it to throw away. Wherever I get this, I can never be sure if it is s good batch or not until I open one or two of the cans in the case. If the case is all really bad, Chewy will replace it. I don't often ask for a replacement. I give the rest of the case to a shelter. It is not bad, but the 'tuna' is just pieces of reconstituted, as I am guessing, of tuna and other things. It is really the gravy they like. A few times the gravy' was so thin I could shake the can and hear it. Most of the time it is too thick and I have to thin it with water. I have one cat that throws up easily, the thick chunks don't help. Still, they want it and they are healthy, although overweight indoor cats ( we have to constantly work on their weight). Purina must know about the inconsistency problem, but it is still the same as always.
