On a dry matter basis, the Chicken variety contains approximately 0.88% Phosphorus, the Ocean Whitefish variety contains approximately 0.98% Phosphorus and the Salmon variety contains approximately 1.85% Phosphorus. Please consult with your veterinarian to ensure these values are suitable for your individual pet.

At Purina, the safety and quality of all pet food products as well as the packaging are their top priorities. All of their packaging materials meet the requirements for direct food contact under FDA regulations. The numbers found on plastics are meant for recyclers. These codes are not an indication of product safety. The tub packaging is primarily polypropylene.

Maggots

Found maggots when opening my package. Obviously threw it out. Fed my cat another portion, she ate 2 bites and ended up throwing up. I then threw out all the portions

My cat suddenly became picky and stopped eating. I got a variety of brands from the store to see which one he would eat and he immediately loved fancy feast. He licks his plate clean which he didn't do with his previous food. The only drawback is the packaging because he tore into the foil, I have to keep it locked in the cabinet. It's also quite difficult to peel the foil up, it's not very accessible to people with weakness in their hands.

This cat food is okay. It's not the best, but pretty good. I watch the ingredients and everything, but the packaging when you split apart, the heads, you're only trying to split them apart, not open 2 containers at the same time, but 9 times out of 10 when you split them apart, both containers partially open, so you have to use them. Therefore there, a lot of waste. This is the way the manufacturers package them. You have to watch when you split the 2 petite containers. Apart, because both will tear open or a little small corner of it and it goes bad and I don't want to risk my cat getting sick over that.

Like many other items from Purina now, are shying away or just flat out won't eat that product. Especially Fancy feast. They won't eat at all something has changed and wondering if they have added insects to them like they have said. I replaced it with savory centers which they loved for a while and now they're even starting to shy away from them. Don't know what's going on but imagine they're putting cheaper products in the food to make more money for themselves.

I've been buying this particular variety pack for my cats for several months. Today, as I started to peel back the seal on one of the packs, a bit of the liquid spurted out and immediately an incredibly foul odor filled my kitchen. The liquid that came out was nearly black and when I poured out the contents into the sink drain, what came out looked nothing like what should have been in the packet. The odor made me gag, and I am having to air out the house as the smell will not dissipate. I am sad that I can no longer in faith buy this brand, as it is one that my cats consistently enjoyed.
