The linings of Fancy Feast cans are in compliance with all applicable U.S. laws and regulations and safe for contact with food. The cans do not contain BPA. Purina uses an FDA approved Polypropylene lining.

The Chicken recipe has 46 calories per serving, the Wild Alaskan Salmon recipe has 43 calories per serving and the Ocean Whitefish recipe has 41 calories per serving.

What is the ash content of these meals?

The Wild Alaskan Salmon recipe contains a 2.90% ash content on an as fed basis. The Ocean Whitefish recipe contains a 3.00% ash content on an as fed basis. The Braised Chicken recipe contains a 2.70% ash content on an as fed basis. The dry matter percentages are not available at this time.

The chicken variety has a carbohydrates content of 0.5% As-fed and 2.0% on a dry matter basis. The Wild Alaskan Salmon has a carbohydrates content of 0.4% as-fed and 1.6% on a dry matter basis. The Ocean Whitefish has a carbohydrates content of 0.4% As-fed and 1.6% on a dry matter basis.

Leaking portions

My cat seems to like the flavour of these, and I appreciate the value of the food. I have ordered this cat food twice and each time I have found several portions

I have ordered this cat food twice and each time I have found several portions of the food to be leaking all over the other food. Unfortunately I will have to switch to another type of food as I don't want to be dealing with this each time I order.

My cat would not eat wet food for the first three years of her life, not even as a baby transitioning to solids. I kept buying different brands, hoping to find something she liked. We finally landed on this. I'm glad it's considered one of the better quality budget cat foods. We will be sticking with Fancy Feast Petites Pate as long as she's willing to eat it. Now that we've found something she enjoys, I hope it isn't discontinued.
