Instructions
If the flexi leash (cord or tape leash) gets wet, please pull it out of the case completely, activate the brake lock, and let it dry overnight. Remove adherent dirt from tape/cord and casing before you retract the leash. Strong abrasion or damages - often caused by bites - can harm cord or tape. Please do not continue to use a flexi leash in such a case.
Usage: How to get a head start in life. You want to take your dog for a walk? Then put on his leash and let him enjoy his walk. Your retractable leash will do everything else for you. The tape/cord will not slack and get dirty and you don't have to adjust the length manually.
You want to stop your dog? Press the brake button. You want your dog to walk close by? Shorten the leash and keep your dog at your side with the brake locked.

Flexi is a solid brand and the quality is good. However, the hook to attach to the dogs collar ring is very small and barely fits over a double ring on a harness

We tried buying the same one as before, but it was out of stock. Dexter chews his leash(anxiety issue) so we couldn't wait for it to be in stock. I ordered what looked very much like the other, but a different brand, & 3 x the price! I was shocked at the size, & how much it cost. Then trying to get your hand into it. Don't buy this unless a child is intended to use it, it doesn't fit a large hand. It's useless to us. I wish I'd waited for the out of stock leash we bought the last time which i loved. Don't buy this one!

The line kept snagging on itself despite me making sure to let it dry if it got wet and wiping off any debris it came in contact with. There was some fitting that kept sliding out from the plastic part that got tangled when it was retracting, glitchy overall. Spend the money on a retractable leash with the ribbon option, you'll be glad you did.

He does fine walking but tries to run when he sees any wildlife, suddenly pulling on the leash. I have been using this for months now with no sign of wear and tear. Would definitely purchase this again.

This Fexi leash is a small size with a 26ft cord
With 26 foot of cord there is plenty of room for our small dog to run in our backyard but still main control if we need to A+ on this design and set up.

This is a top quality leash. It replaces one that I have had for well over 10 years, probably closer to 15. It was just barely starting to fray so, I ordered a new one as I didn't want to take any chances. The old one served us very, very well. They are made in Germany and are excellent quality.
