How much food does this hold?

Each hole or pocket measures approximately 1 inch wide by 0.5 inches deep. Since kibbles vary in size, each pocket likely holds a few pieces of kibble. These puzzles are not intended to be used as meal feeders.

Not advanced as in the description

Yes, my dog had fun with it but there’s no way it’s advanced as described. I’d say it was easy only because it took her 15 minutes to eat all the food stashed in

Yes, my dog had fun with it but there’s no way it’s advanced as described. I’d say it was easy only because it took her 15 minutes to eat all the food stashed in the compartments. She had it figured out in about 2 minutes. We were looking for something more challenging than this puzzle.

Oliver loves this!

Had never used one of these, but decided to give it a try to provide stimulation for my dog. He loves it! Even though it is near his food dish, with the same kibble

Had never used one of these, but decided to give it a try to provide stimulation for my dog. He loves it! Even though it is near his food dish, with the same kibble in it, he prefers to go nosing and pawing to get his food! Oliver has destroyed some other toys pretty quickly, but this device is sturdy and well made, and he seems to enjoy interacting with it.

Got this for my coonhound, it’s got a lot of moving pieces that have to line up perfectly so it keeps him pretty engaged. It’s challenging enough but not too frustrating for him to lose interest. The pockets don’t bounce open if dropped, even when dropped down the stairs, despite my boys best effort! My parents dog who doesn’t have much experience with puzzles did really struggle with this one so it is definitely not super beginner friendly unless you have a very stubborn dog.

My lab loves puzzles, but if she can’t figure out the right way immediately, she starts flipping the tray around. (She gets that from me.). Interestingly enough she did better with the watermelon on than this one ( and I thought greens were in a dog’s visual spectrum. Anyway, she likes both colors and looks proud of herself when she’s finished. I do have a level 4 puzzle which is in pretty rough shape but still useable, I’m holding off on starting a new one I just got for awhile until I can be more sure of her not giving up on it and trying to eat it. ( she’s a lab.)

This is the first puzzle I got for a Jack Russell mix. He loves it. He can solve it fairly quickly but it keeps him busy for a few minutes and is good mental stimulation
