I purchased the cream version of this 7 years ago and I just now had to replace it. You can’t beat that. I love that the sisal scratchers go from top to bottom. You’ll notice on other cat condo’s that the sisal is in the middle only and fabric is at the top and bottom so your kitty can’t adequately scratch that. My daughter accidentally put the two shelves backwards so the mouse and ball should be the other way but my cat doesn’t care. I will say that the one purchased 7 years ago was easy to put together. This wasn’t. There were holes that didn’t line up and there were times you couldn’t see what you were doing. I’d still buy this time and time again though.

I’ve purchased this cat tree multiple times (July 2020, 2022, and again in December 2025). It works well for our household because each of my cats has their own designated spot: my oldest/alpha on top, the second below and now with two additional cats, it really helps maintain routine. Over the years, I’ve noticed differences when assembling it. This most recent build was more frustrating than previous ones. I found two mistakes during assembly, and if I hadn’t already owned this tree before, I probably wouldn’t have caught them as easily. Some of the screws didn’t want to go in all the way, which made the process take longer than it should have. I’m comfortable assembling furniture and can follow instructions easily, but the base on this one was mislabeled where part #9 goes. My past experience with this product is what ultimately saved me.

Be aware that the first platform that sits on the diagonal sticks out pretty far. I either didn't look at the pictures closely enough or it didn't translate in my brain because I had to swap places with another cat tree because of that. Otherwise, the cats and I are huge fans. One of my orange girls was trying to play on it before I had even finished assembling it. The condo is spacious. My 19 lb ginger boy fits in the opening easily. That poor mouse dangle toy never stood a chance with multiple cats beating on him. He's already leaked stuffing. I'm not mad. I didn't think they would like it that much and it's no trouble to sew him up tighter. Assembly was easy (except for the feline "help"). Putting the braces in the condo was a bit tricky for me but I have hand-related disabilities. It still took me only a bit over an hour to get it up.

I had one of these before and my cats loved it. It lasted for years the only reason I got rid of it was because it was getting dirty. I did not replace right away and my cats did not know what to do with them self's so I bought the same one again. They could not wait to for me to finish putting it together to get on it. This cat tree is sturdy and a great height.

At first I thought I received boards with misaligned holes, but came to realize that some of the holes for the cat condo were covered by fabric. The directions were not the most clear, and I discovered an error in them. I was missing one bolt, which I ended up not needing because I did not secure the tree to the wall. Also, there was no pre-drilled hole for the toy rope, so my cats will just have to make do without it. I am giving it three stars because the assembly took forever - two hours as I made a couple of mistakes and had difficulty getting the bolts lined up. Attaching the cat condo to the base was the hardest. I found it easier to attach the big back bolt first. All that said, I am very happy with the cat tower. Now the real question is, will the cats use it?

I’m giving this 2 stars as my cat loves it, but it was not easy assembly. The first tree I received, the pre drilled holes didn’t match by the time I got to the second steps. Contacted Chewy and they sent me a second tree replacement free of charge. The next weekend, I go to assemble the second tree, and no dice. The same issue where the holes don’t line up. Had to run to the hardware store for the correct size drill bit. It’s pretty stable and not overly large in my space. Took a bit longer but my gremlin is loving it.
