What are the temperatures in a low and high setting?

The low setting average surface temperature of the fleece covering is 104 degrees Fahrenheit and the high setting average surface temperature of the fleece covering is 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The output DC is 20 watts.

Can this be used outdoors?

This mat is not designed for outdoor use. If the garage is covered from the elements it would be suitable for use in the garage.

I wanted to like it but the edges that form a circle are too small for my guy to fit in - not sure if anything other than a chihuahua would fit in it. Ended up turning it over and covering with blankets. Timer works and each heat setting is a good safe amount

Both cats are spending a lot of time in these beds. Pro: nice design with removable heating element so the bed can go in the wash. The controls on the timer have lots of options. Both cats seem perfectly content. My 14 pounder fits snugly into his bed and my 8 pounder has room to spare. I got them 18 inch beds. The only downside is that the only available color is white. Cat owners everywhere know to always match the color of the furniture to the cat.

My young cat befriended a couple of ferals in the neighborhood and, with winter coming, I built them a FADU (feline accessory dwelling unit) for protection from the elements. They took to it quickly so I decided to add a heated bed. This one is perfect and the cats love it. I have only used the low setting but it provides plenty of heat, especially when all three cats are in it at the same time. They literally spend hours at a time in the FADU on the bed. I just have to remember to reset the 24hr timer each evening when I feed them. I haven’t forgotten yet. The only down side is that my cat, who used to spend time with me in the house, now spends ALL of his time with his friends outside or in the FADU and only acknowledges my presence when I bring out food. Country of origin is the only reason I didn’t give this bed 5 stars.

At first these beds were great - both my elderly small dog and my elderly cat loved them (I bought one for each of them) for warm beds overnight (we turn the house heat down). However, within probably 4-5 weeks (it's been less than 2 months since I bought them and it's been going on for a while now) the timers stopped working correctly and the beds turn off very quickly leaving them cold long before morning. Seriously disappointing considering the cost.
