Is the blue side of the pad considered the tissue side

My cat Clark sleeps in a kennel at night as he doesn't always play well with others, lol. These pads are helpful in keeping his house clean, dry and warm until morning. His bed stays clean and he uses these pads. I chose charcoal vs the gel kind as I didn't want him around the gel (in case he chewed the pad). They work so good that I am currently awaiting my second order! I got 50 the first order and this time I'm getting 300! I highly recommend these charcoal pads if you have a pet who needs pads.

My only complaint is that it’s difficult to see where the urine is without turning them over. The color of the charcoal in the pad hides the used areas.

These pee pads and the white ones with paw prints both absorb urine very well. I had problems with other brands where the urine would puddle and run right off onto my carpet. These don’t do that. Only thing is with these, since they are black you have to pick it up and look at the back to see if it’s used. My dog doesn’t use them every day. She’s about 10 pounds, so not sure how it would work for larger puddles.

Unfortunately, these pads did not work for my xs 3lb Maltipoo. I have to use several pads in one area. They did not absorb his pee, but it set on top of the pad in a puddle, which we had to get paper towels to wipe up so he would not track in it. Also, the activated charcoal did not eliminate or minimize orders. Disappointed and wasted time with calling for a refund.
