It is not recommended to use one litter box for more than one cat. This litter box can be used with traditional clumping litter.

The sifting part has exactly the right size holes to let the used litter through and keep the unused one inside and not stuck. Will be recommending to others!

This is almost exactly what I wanted it to be - easy to use, quick, relatively mess-free. The corner design and flexible plastic makes it easier for me to pour the clumps post-sifting into the garbage. I do have a couple complaints: the corner is rounded and doesn't fit against the wall, so litter ends up collecting between the box and the wall. Also, the 17" side measurement on the photo is misleading - that's corner to corner, but since the corners are rounded and cut off at the front, the actual length is closer to 12". That size difference is the biggest reason my cat hates this box - she's always been particular about litterbox "roominess" and this one's too small for her. She ends up perching on the ledge and peeing outside the box. I think this is a great concept and would probably work really well for a smaller/less picky cat.

I tried to make it work. This system is awful. It's dirty, smelly, doesn't work on "wet" litter - only the "hard" waste. Disgusting.
