In my opinion the size and labeling of product is misleading and deceiving. it states that it is Large with measurement of 22 x 23 in. this size is NOT large. it barely covers under the food and water bowls. this is for smaller areas and small cat. I would not recommend this for a dog unless it's a teacup dog. I would not recommend this for a cat unless it's a kitten. I use this to wipe my feet or place my shoes / rain boots on so as not to track in dirt, mud or wet shoes/boots.

I have a cat that does not like the feel of liter and will go right outside the liter box. Vet checked her and said some females will not use a liter box with males or may not like the feel of the liter, but health wise she was OK. So I started using these outside the liter box and they work for her plus collect any liter that may come out with the other cats. Great Product for my need.

My senior kitty, Erp-Gerp has started peeing EVERYWHERE & vet said she has early onset renal issues. She took to these pads in the 'Glad' 22 x 22 (?) pad holder very well and they have reduced her 'accidents' (ok, intentional... she doesn't like some of the other cats... plus has a hard time with some of the litter boxes, or simply won't use them!). Thank you for a good product to help my senior Erp-Gerp! (Yes, that IS her name... from the first sounds she ever made when allowed inside as a stray over a decade ago!)

Of all others I have tried, these keep the urine from spreading out and getting onto my cat’s thighs (he is fully paralyzed). They do not leak (even when cut in half) or leave a damp spot underneath. I made a mistake of buying another brand after this one due to arrival time and regret it. Will definitely buy these again once this other brand is finished.
