How much material is between the dog and the foor?

The thickness of the sleep surface varies with bed size. Small cushions are about 4 inches high; Medium cushions are about 6 inches high; Large cushions are about 6 inches high; XL cushions are about 7 inches high.

What are the weight factors into the sizes

Why can't this be washed in a high efficiency top loading washer? Why does it have to be a front loader?

It is suggested to use a front-loader for a dog bed because its tumbling action and higher spin speeds are more effective at lifting pet hair and cleaning deeply, resulting in a better wash and less drying time. While top-loaders are generally faster and easier to load, their less vigorous cleaning action is less suited for removing embedded dirt and hair from bulky items like dog beds. This type of fabric works better if it can move around freely otherwise it can start mat. It’s also recommended to tumble dry on as low heat as possible or no heat at all, as the fabric appearance can look different.

Can the bolster and bottom pad be washed in the washing machine if an accident was to occur? Is the stuffing in a fabric or the cheese cloth type material that tears?

The entire pet bed can be washed using a high capacity front loading washer, refer to the washing instructions included on the PDP. The stuffing is contained in fabric liner that is tear resistant.

Dog jumped right in

My 20 lb mini schnauzer love this bed. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be (I probably could have gone down a size) but my dog loves it so much it's so nice to see him cuddled in it. Love that the outer layer can come off for washing but I was surprised that the zipper is exposed on the fuzzy side. Dog doesn't mind just something interesting.

He Loves It

This is a great bed for our Levi. It's the second one I have bought for him. Pretty soon he will have one in every room lol. He loves these beds and looks so comfy

I haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to the durability, but it seems good quality so I don't anticipate any problems.
