This is a great litter box and I have no regrets about buying it as a first time kitten parent. We’ve moved it around as our kitten has gotten more familiar with our home and it’s fit well in each corner, taking up minimal space. It contains the litter when he covers his business and it holds in any odour (although I clean daily, often 2X/day). We don’t use the door as when he was very small we had kept it open (on top of the box) and it had accidentally fallen down one time. He was too small to open it and couldn’t get in although he was trying frantically. We heard him but didn’t realize what the noise was until it was too late and he unfortunately went on the floor. He actually seemed very embarrassed. We removed the door thinking we’d put it back when he got bigger but we haven’t found the need as smells are contained well enough. I deep clean it at least once per month and it’s easy enough to clean. I don’t find that it holds any odour, even being plastic. I use Dawn dish soap for the first wash then a rinse with bleach and Dawn and it is always fresh and clean.

Decided to just take it off, seems to work fine after that. It is actaully bigger than I expected and takes up quite a bit of space even though it is a corn box it has plenty of space for my cat.

The cover has kept all urine inside the litter box easily. The flip top makes cleaning super easy! We love that this box fits in a corner and takes up very little space this way.
