Wellll, even tho they tell you surface washable, I have always just tossed my dog's toys into the washer, washed them with natural earth and pet friendly cleaners,(MIRACLE brand laundry sheets) double rinsed, spin out as much water as I can. Throw them in the dryer with No dryer sheets and I haven't lost one yet! The squeakers sometimes come out sounding a little strange until they totally dry out on their own. They may move around a little bit. But the only casualty I've had is, if there had been a split seam somewhere I didn't catch, there might have been some fluff. In the washer or dryer.

Roxie, being a Shepard/Husky mix, has destroyed every stuffed toy I bought her trying to get the squeaker out. But this one she hasn't even tried to....she loves it and carries it around wherever she goes and snuggles with it. We call it her baby. She has chewed on the ears but it hasn't destroyed it. We are so happy that we have found something that works for her!!

We bought this toy for Bernese Mountain Dog about 6 months ago based on positive reviews and the thing just keeps on squeaking. Most toys have a tendency to die after awhile but this thing just keeps on going. There is not a day that this thing is not in his mouth while he runs around squeaking it. Highly recommend if you want to spoil your best friend.

The head has separated from the neck. All of the squeakers are in the lower body. I don’t know how this toy passed a quality inspection!

No idea how so many people in the reviews with big dogs said it good stand up to strong chewers. I have a 25 lb cocker spaniel and this toy didn’t stand a chance. Waste of money for me :(
