To hard for cats
Cat wont even touch. Its rubber and bends but its so thick the cats cant chew on it. These were made of dogs but are to small so they labeled them cat toys. My impression

They have a nice bounce, roll easily, and are a nice size for chasing. They are made from a semi-soft rubber with lots of gaps, so if she were as spry as she once was, she would easily be able to carry the balls in her mouth.

I noticed you couldn’t really hear the crinkle of the purple ball. I gave this to our small chihuahua who seems more interested in chasing after it. As for the orange ball, he’s never really been drawn to catnip so he didn’t play much with it.

The lattice texture is easy for them to hold and the ball bounces nicely for a game of fetch. It’s also a large, non-choking risk size. They are heavier toys so my more timid cat was a bit afraid of the sound it made when bouncing. Overall a fun addition to our toy box!

I discovered that although they can make a crinkly sound, the rubber is a little too stiff for the cats to make the noise. Ergo, they're quiet. Since the balls are not perfectly round, they don't roll exactly straight, a quirkiness which appeals to the cats.
