Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. For best results, hand wash cold separately. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. These instructions are also located under the "instructions" tab on the product page.

Will this fit a large pit mix, about 75 pounds? He has a chest circumference of 35-36 inches

For the best fit, we recommend measuring your pet and matching your pet's measurements as closely as possible to the sizing chart. To measure your pet's body length, measure the base of the neck to the base of the tail. To measure the neck girth, measure around your pet's neck leaving room for two fingers and to measure chest girth, measure your pet's chest around the widest part. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. For the complete sizing chart, please refer to the photo below or click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.

Where is the least clasp on the jacket. It isn't visible on the pictures you provide.

There is not an opening for the leash clasp on this jacket. The neckline of this jacket is below where the collar would naturally sit so a leash can still be attached.

Is it waterproof?

This jacket is water resistant but not waterproof.

Love this jacket! It's looks very cool on my dog and fits well. It's super lightweight and perfect for fall weather and mildly cold weather. Only suggestion would

Love this jacket! It's looks very cool on my dog and fits well. It's super lightweight and perfect for fall weather and mildly cold weather. Only suggestion would be if they had those ties or drawstring around the neck to adjust how tight or loose you want it. I also purchased their thicker fleece lined heavier coat for really cold winters.

We needed a jacket that zipped because our dog is terrified by the sound of detaching Velcro flaps. Velcro accumulates fur, too, though it attaches faster than a zip.. We have him "step-in" the jacket, then we quickly pull it up over him and zip from near his tail up to his neck. We are all getting better at this, but he is not generally a fan of wearing a jacket! Taking it off is a breeze. He needs a jacket as his fur on one side is very, very slowly growing back post-surgery and it's cold outside. He's a husky, about 56 pounds. We got the XXL and it fits. Would not go smaller. We are very happy with the purchase.

I never write reviews but I am simply obsessed with this jacket. I have two mini schnauzers that can be hard to size and this coat works perfectly on both of them (18 lbs wears M and 26 lbs wears L). My 15.5-yr-old has a bad back and chronic pain. I am able to lay the coat on the ground without having to pull it over his head or legs to put it on him. My 3-yr-old does competitive nose work and can get cold waiting in the car between searches, but he HATES searching in clothing. The top zipper is perfect for a quick release to get the jacket off FAST without taking too much time at the beginning of the search. Please keep making this coat forever!
