Does the cat pee out the openings on the sides?

Yes, unfortunately they do. We cat owners with high peeing cats need a completely closed in box (other than the opening they go in) I bought 4 of these cat litter boxes and they worked great other than that.

Can you put a stainless steel liter pan in it? If so what size?

You should be able to put a stainless-steel litter pan in this litter box, provided the pan is smaller than or equal to the internal tray size. To be sure if fits, the pan should be 27 x 15 inches max.

This litter box has two options - one with an included litter tray that fits perfectly inside with space for storage, and one without the litter tray, so you can sub in one that fits your cat’s style or fill completely with litter.

Great for senior cat

I have 2 cats but my senior male was having a hard time with “missing” the litter box and peeing down the side and onto the floor/wall. This enclosed litter box

I have 2 cats but my senior male was having a hard time with “missing” the litter box and peeing down the side and onto the floor/wall. This enclosed litter box works great. He has somehow peed out the door opening a couple of times but overall the pee is contained much better and he is able to get in and out without a problem. As a bonus, it keeps my dogs out of the litter too.

The cats use it!

This is a BIG box, probably twice the size of a normal litterbox! All my cats use it, and the door being to the side means I can make a nice path to pick up litter

This is a BIG box, probably twice the size of a normal litterbox! All my cats use it, and the door being to the side means I can make a nice path to pick up litter. The lid doesn't stay up when open but it comes off and on extremely easily for scooping. A bit unwieldy to clean due to size, so keep in mind if you don't have a lot of space to deep clean it.

Amazing litter box

I was hesitant to buy this litterbox because of how expensive it was but I wanted to buy it because I'm tired of the ugly litterbox I have at home and the large

I was hesitant to buy this litterbox because of how expensive it was but I wanted to buy it because I'm tired of the ugly litterbox I have at home and the large amount of litter trailing I have around the house. After buying this litterbox, my cats accepted it right away. In fact, they use it together sometimes because of how spacious it is. I do leave the lid off because of their bowel issues, I need to monitor their stools. I purchased this without the tray and threw the litter directly inside. I also have a litter mat outside of the entrance so it can capture some of the loose litter.

Great product for high sprayers

I have been looking for years trying to find a litter box that was one piece and tall enough for my high spraying kitty. This litter box is super easy to maintain

I have been looking for years trying to find a litter box that was one piece and tall enough for my high spraying kitty. This litter box is super easy to maintain and clean. The cat pee does not get stuck in any corners or joining pieces since this product is one solid piece. Only edit I made was I clear taped the holes on both ends just to make sure she does not pee outside those holes. And this is great for travel. Now when I need to move her to a different house it makes it super easy to move this litter box. Highly recommend this product!

Absolutely love this Cat Litter Box

After reading all the reviews on this litter box, I took the plunge and ordered one. And I absolutely love, love, love it and so do my 6 cats. I had been searching

After reading all the reviews on this litter box, I took the plunge and ordered one. And I absolutely love, love, love it and so do my 6 cats. I had been searching high and low for a seamless version for a long time, as one of my cats started urinating outside of the little box. I was lining the area with doggie pee pads which ended up being soaked after a couple of days. This litter box is big enough for my large male cat. I took the cover off and put it under the litter box and it fits nicely in the space in my laundry room and replaced two litter boxes I had there. There is less tracking of litter - I put a pee pad at the entrance of the box and it seems to cut down on litter spreading on the floor. It's very easy to clean.

I purchased this as we previously had a ton of litter spillage on the floor. It works well with keeping that spillage contained. The litter box is a bit shallow
