Helps contain litter from being scattered

Love this design. My kittens really flip the litter outside the tray until I got this box. Still some litter tracked out but so much better than with my other tray

I choose this one because it also had a smooth bottom , some of the liter boxes i looked at did not have a smooth bottom they had some sort of mold that did not make it smooth. That would make it hard to (for me) to scoop out anything. Also I dont the cat would like it. It does help alot with her. she pees a little higher so this does keep in the urine and not on the pee pad, it came so quick as well. the only thing i would make better is that the piece just kind clicks in on top of the box. I would make it snap in . I am always afraid that it is not connecting properly. Easy to clean as well I do recommend this item.

I've been through so many different litter boxes trying to find one that works well for me and my cats: Omega Paws Roll 'n Clean (never again!! Walnut litter stuck to the sides and grew moldy!), sifting ones (the screens clog up), a top-entry (they hated it, only one used it, and only once), an oval shaped one from IKEA (harder to scoop out since no corners). So far this has been the best. It fits in the space between my toilet and my cabinet, and it's open top so when I am in the bathroom I can easily see if they've used it and just scoop it out if they have. My only real complaint is I wish it were a little higher in front to keep my boys from kicking out more litter when they're covering their messes. I am buying a replacement now because after 3 years they've scratched up one spot in the corner pretty good and it's got some dark spots in the scratches that I can't clean out. I was also looking at stainless steel ones so they couldn't scratch it up, but they look $$$ and I can't find a size similar to this one with the high sides.

I would recommend this to pet owners with cats weighing 10 lbs. or less. Our 4th and biggest male is 14 lbs and can’t really turn around well in this - he has a couple very large litter boxes to use though.
