Litter Mat

I would recommend rolling the mat up for shipping instead of folding it. The creased don't come and it doesn't lay totally flat. I like that it vacuums well.

Okay, so I bought two of these to go under my kittens' litterboxes. One of my kittens was having some digestive upset, and it stained the first one of these. I cannot get the brown color off. (Better the mat than my floor.) So these aren't very cleanable. THEN, the second one... my kitten decided that she would shred it? All around the edges she tore off chunks. So this is definitely not kitten proof either. I was actually astonished that she was able to do so much damage. I'll be completely honest too... it doesn't really catch litter that well. I have used these with okocat litter AND the walnut cat litter. Doesn't really work.

This mat works pretty well. It catches about 90% of the litter that tracks out with the cat. I don't believe you'll find any mat that does 100%, I've looked and this has definitely been the best. It's easy to clean i just roll it up and go outside to shake it off. I love that it comes in different sizes, that is very convenient ther brands in the past I've used don't offer that option. I'd definitely recommend this t other cat owners who are dealing with litter tracking out of the box.

I purchased a new litter box and mat for my two elderly male cats to make winter a little easier for them. The mat is a great size, chosen because I wanted it to catch the litter no matter which way they walked. The mat has never flattened out and after 2weeks remains creased with a long thin diagonal bubble lifting a section up. That’s not why I give it one star, though. It doesn’t fulfill its purpose: litter is tracked out every single use, which makes it money wasted.

Thus, we need to factor this in for anything we have around the house. However, we've got another 2 litter mats like this, so I didn't think this would be a problem. Ah, the ignorance of earlier today. I unpacked the box, left this out for about 2 hours, and by the time I came back, he'd thoroughly demolished 2 sides of the mat. :( So if you've also got a Bitey McBiterson in your life, I'd give this mat a pass. We might be able to get some use out of this mat once we cut the damaged half away? If our own Bitey leaves this alone now that it's out of the delicious and tempting wrapping plastic, I'll update this review. But since Ernie _kept_ destroying the mat once he was through the wrapper and to the delicious center, I've got my doubts.
