Depending on the size of the treats/kibble, each compartment can accommodate 3-5 pieces of small treats or kibble.

Puppy loves it

My 8 month old beagle loves this toy, but figured it out instantly, so it only keeps her busy for 5 minutes. I will try a more challenging one. She does get excited

Outside slides are very easy level 1 but the rest is a good challenge, still trying to teach my dog how to do the rest of the puzzle. He figures it out with me holding the green part in place but good level up for a dog who has mastered earlier level puzzles as my dog goes through many in a few short minutes. Different puzzle companies seem to have different difficulty levels but impressed with this one. Medium on the range of puzzles we have as far as how easy to wash and dry. Some are very difficult some super easy, this one isn’t easy but not terrible.

It keeps our pup busy when we’re leaving the house, helping receive her anxiety. She’s recently mastered it, figuring it out faster than I could drive out of the apartment parking lot. We’re definitely going to get two new ones to cycle. Keeping her challenged. It was a great purchase. The pieces stay attached so she couldn’t pull it off and chew on them like other puzzles we’ve purchased.

Our 6 m/o Aussie solved this, unintentionally, in under two minutes, but I love the layered complexity. The heart tabs are the easy ones that lets the pup figure

Our 6 m/o Aussie solved this, unintentionally, in under two minutes, but I love the layered complexity. The heart tabs are the easy ones that lets the pup figure out what to do. The star ones are clearly level two, but moving them to lock and unlock the circle is level three and is the most difficult for her right now. She was able to get all the treats quickly really, but this is a good starter puzzle for her as Kongs don’t entertain her anymore and other normal puzzles she solves instantly.
