The exterior of this product is 17 inches in length, 14 inches in width, and 2.5 inches in height. The interior is 12 inches in length and 9 inches in width.

Will the bed still self warm if I put a blanket on top of it?

Placing a blanket on top of the bed will diminish its reflective nature and reduce the self-warming effect. The blanket creates a barrier that prevents direct contact with the reflective surface.

At this time, this bed is available in one size measuring 17 x 14 x 2.5 inches.

what size cat does this hold? My cat is 16 lbs.

This pet bed does not have a weight limit. We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in their normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs.

My cat doesn't want to leave this bed

The bed is very soft, lightweight, and a great size for most cats. My cat can either be cozily curled up inside it, or stretch his feet out of it and still be comfortable

We were using a folded towel but when she saw this she moved over and never looked back. Perhaps not as easy to clean as a towel but the raised sides and padding are highly approved by one very picky old lady cat.

She didn't like the one I thought she would, but she loves this Self Warming Bolster Kitten Bed. She weighs 10 pounds, and put herself in and it's full. I thought I should get a larger one, but she loves to snuggle into this bed and can even fit one small ball she likes in with her. Her ears warm up even though she can't get her head inside bolster.
