The Frisco Scratcher Refills are designed for use with Frisco scratcher toys only and not for the cardboard cat houses.

It’s cute but I think the inside could be bigger. My cats love cardboard houses, but they like to snuggle inside them together. I got this one thinking they could share it and have their own space inside with the two levels, but they really only use the bottom level. It’s too small for my two larger cats to lay in comfortably together. Size aside, this is a great product and really fun. We get lots of compliments on it, it’s sturdy, and a super cute photo op.

My cat is absolutely obsessed with Frisco's cardboard houses. Prior to this one, we also had the halloween-themed haunted castle. She is a very big girl, but the house is spacious enough that she can comfortably get in, out, and move around inside, and it also seems to hold her weight without falling apart. You can get replacements for the scratcher inserts when they get worn down enough. My cat likes to bite into the cardboard around the door and rip it apart more than she likes to scratch. I'm just happy that she's happy.
