I had bought my first pair of these about 4 years ago. They held up well but a few spots had started to oxidize. I decided to repurchase these since they stood up to the test of time. Only thing was my dog (when a puppy) chewed off the rubber base of the bowl I keep outside with water. Even with that missing, it still lasted.

I got these bowls because my dog, wearing a head cone for allergies, kept tipping over his food and water bowls as the edge of the cone caught on the edge of the bowl. These new bowls solved the problem and will be my dog's permanent food and water containers. I love that they do not slip or slide and also that they are dishwasher safe. Stainless is the best as it is easy to clean away germs and debris that can cause infections. I highly recommend these for medium size dogs. Elizabeth
