Frisco Unicorn & Rainbow Cat Tracks Cat Toy with Catnip

I have several versions of this toy, but this one is the best . Older versions had an open top were kittens could get their head stuck. This version has a cap on top.+++ Plus they put a changeable toy on top of that which my cat totally loves . By interacting with them they became accustomed to the idea of playing with the balls, but their inherent instinct is to set the balls free and knock them around the room so they can chase them. (This mimics their natural hunting instinct.) Putting them together is not too difficult; just have to ensure the little tabs pop into the slots. This version has held Emeralds attention the longest. It's normal for their attention span to be short, so change the toy on top once a week. As for the catnip well that's suppose to be a genetic response so your cat may not be attracted to that if they don't have that gene.

I got two kittens recently and they love playing together, but they keep losing springs and balls in my apartment. They get stuck in cracks. which is great for getting them to team up and problem solve, but it’s usually dirty, and they’re very fluffy dust mops. I’ve been looking for toys they can play with together, but a lot of cat toys seem to be made for one cat or they’re super expensive. They’ve been playing with this nonstop ever since I put it together, they take turns pushing the balls, and sometimes will try to pass it to each other which is super cute. It’s been almost 30 minutes now. I think that means they’re very happy with it! A word of caution, maybe on instructions, idk I threw them out. The little attachment on the top is cute, but my kittens are teething and they keep trying to chew on the wire instead of the plushie attached to it. Would recommend removing the attachment if you leave them alone with it, because it’s just bare metal wire!

I have had seven kittens and/or cats over the years and this is a number favorite even the dogs try to get the ball, which doesn't always end well for the toy, lol. Even better places in a box or at the end of a tunnel tube!
