Very heavy. Box was left on driveway and I had to get help to carry up the stairs into house. Took over an hour to assemble. Does not collapse! Not something you can easily take apart to move or travel with. I know that it is rare to find this size of crate and I appreciate that Chewy sells a crate this size, but I was hoping it would be more moveable. It is far too heavy to move and once assembled, it will have to stay in that location. If that’s Ok for your needs, then I recommend this crate. It is sturdy and the largest size available on market. Our giant breed has lots of space to stand and to turn. Be very thoughtful of where you want to keep it before you assemble it! It is not like smaller, collapsible crates you may have had before.

The crate isn’t well manufactured - multiple hooks come bent in the box. The side door is bent out from the side. It takes significant amounts of adjustments to get this to fit together. If it wasn’t so big, I would have returned it. Consider this before buying - if it shows up defective like mine, will you be able to fix it? Because it is near impossible to return something this size.
Massive!

This crate is built to last. It is MASSIVE!!! Our girl is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees. This is a whole condo. The only thing We do not like about it is that it doesn't fold up. Assembly was intense and took 2 people. We had a damaged crate but were able to bend it back in place. Her bed pictured is a 7.8 inch orthopedic dog bed. Thats how big this thing is!!
Good size but have to assemble
This was very annoying to assemble and to lug into the house (all by myself. I'm only 5'3") Most crates are already assembled and one piece and all you do is unfold
This was very annoying to assemble and to lug into the house (all by myself. I'm only 5'3") Most crates are already assembled and one piece and all you do is unfold them and snap the side walls in place, but this one unfortunately you have to assemble it all by yourself which I wasn't aware of. It would be a lot faster with help! But it wasn't difficult to put together, just a pain! Also, some of the loops at the corner needed hammering down because they arrived bent, as though it were manufactured that way! Other than that, the crate is fairly solid, and I feel pretty happy about thr purchase now that it's assembled!
Big Enough for my polar bear
Trying to find a crate large enough to accommodate a Great Pyrenees was no easy task. I’m grateful that there was a model with two doors. It was easy enough to assemble

Bent and unsafe
I love the size of this crate for my 95 lb Rottie but it was not the best quality for the expensive price. One wall was bent and the wires at the bottom are unsafe
I love the size of this crate for my 95 lb Rottie but it was not the best quality for the expensive price. One wall was bent and the wires at the bottom are unsafe for my dog who likes to dig at the bottom of the crate. Wish it was better quality. My dog now has hurt his paw because of all the wires at the bottom.
Heavy Duty
Crate is heavy duty, no chance my Great Dane could possibly get out. Took some time to assemble but easy instructions

Giant Crate for Giant Breed
I bought this crate for my 125-130lb Saint Bernard. He has been sleeping comfortably in a slightly smaller 48” crate but he recently hurt his spine and I was concerned
I bought this crate for my 125-130lb Saint Bernard. He has been sleeping comfortably in a slightly smaller 48” crate but he recently hurt his spine and I was concerned about his ability to turn around safely in his 48” crate so I bought this larger one. This 54” crate is humongous and makes him look petite. He can easily stand up and turn around. The instructions recommend having two people assemble this crate. That likely would have made things easier but I did assemble it by myself (late 30s female in ok shape). I wish that I had worn work gloves because the ends of the wires are sharp or rough even though they’re painted so watch out and protect your hands and floors (this is the reason I docked a star). It seems very sturdy even though I didn’t latch everything (my Saint never tries to escape, he loves his crate). Overall, I’m happy with this crate.
Smaller than before
I went back through my order history and bought the same exact cage that I got a couple years ago and it’s definitely smaller and was more expensive.

SO DISAPPOINTED
This item is definitely not Heavy Duty. It came to us in a carton that appeared to be retaped. While assembling, we noticed that several of the pieces were bent
This item is definitely not Heavy Duty. It came to us in a carton that appeared to be retaped. While assembling, we noticed that several of the pieces were bent and the black coating scratched as though someone had attempted to bend or straighten the ill fitting, bent pieces. Of course, it is now unpacked, and built in our room so there is no chance of it being repacked for return. We are stuck with a product that is certainly not as expected and should be an embarrassment to Frisco and Chewy. Could not be more disappointed. I would NOT recommend.
