This treat is crafted with added vitamins like vitamin E and taurine to help support your senior cat's overall health. For younger cats we recommend the Friskies Lil' Soups with Tuna in a Velvety Chicken Broth Lickable Cat Treats.

What is the protein content on a dry matter basis for the senior formula?

At this time, the manufacturer does not calculate the as-fed or dry matter basis. This treat has a crude protein content of 9.0%, per the guaranteed analysis.

Where is this made and what country are the ingredients from?

Lil' Soups are made in Thailand. The manufacturer will source their high-quality ingredients within the United States depending on availability. However, certain ingredients will need to be outsourced (i,e: Lamb, Venison, Duck, Rabbit, Vitamin Packs, etc.) to ensure top quality and freshness while meeting a reasonable price point for pet parents.

This is a hit

Both my cats love this flavour. Despite the fact they are big cats, both are picky eaters but they both love this flavour and brand.

So much to say: Anything tuna on tuna is Tamsyn's automatic favorite (there are several other flavors that may do the same for your feline furry), but she goes bonkers over this. I know it is meant to mix with kibble as an incentive for finicky cats to eat; but Tamsyn, being a solely indoor cat, is a bit overweight; and I substitute this for meals at least once a day; hoping that the contents, being mostly juice, will cut down on her caloric intake. From what info I can find, it seems to be as healthy as, if not healthier than, her regular food - and it satisfies her. A magic potion? Possibly. There is a small negative, though. The packaging. A flimsy, plastic 'bowl' with a foil, glued-on lid that must be forcibly torn away - a task that is practically impossible to complete without ending up with product on hands, counter top, and, conceivably, the wall. Your cat, like mine, will probably find it worth your trouble, however you choose to use it.

I recently tried the Slapjack Tuna cup for my cat, Tommy, and he absolutely loved it! From the moment I peeled back the lid, he was alert and ready the smell alone got his attention. The texture is soft and light, easy for him to eat, and it mixed perfectly over his dry treats. He cleaned his bowl completely, which tells me all I need to know! What I really appreciate is how much broth it has it helps keep him hydrated and adds flavor without being too heavy. It’s a great afternoon treat or meal topper, especially for cats that love seafood. Tommy can be picky, but this one passed with flying colors. Definitely adding Slapjack Tuna to his regular rotation.

We have an older cat that we of course spoil. We had 6 and we only have the one left so we buy anything we think he might like. Well, there are lots of treats he's so so on, but he really likes this Skipjack Tuna in a Velvety Tuna Broth Senior formula. And he also really likes the lil soups Flaked chicken, so of course we buy a lot of that too.

These things are really good for my cat he loves them and he's getting older about eleven. The problem is I've noticed with Chewy every time I put things in my cart like literally every order there will be multiples instead of just one. I click on it one time and in my cart there will be several of an item. I missed it this time and ended up with three boxes instead of one so Chewy needs to be aware that their website is doing that. It's every single time I start to put things in my cart I have to watch to make sure it hasn't automatically given me like two three or even four of something.
