An unopened package of food will last until the expiration date stamped on it. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep the food stored in original packaging and store in a cool, dry location. Ideally, after opening, any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator and should be consumed within 3-5 days.

There is about .05 worth "soup" and the rest is probably packaging. But they are worth it for our cats. But don't know how much longer.

Tuna on tuna. Tamsyn's idea of heaven. I know that this is intended as an additive to encourage eating. But, that not being an issue, I was looking for a solution to her having trouble picking up small kibble and wet food, due to missing teeth. Although she still enjoys her regular food, these soups are perfect because, she can lap up, and then we have bonding time while I pick the little pieces of tuna out of the bowl and feed them to her. A couple of tips: 1)DO NOT try to feed this from the plastic container 2) place it on a hard surface before opening it, as the container is not well constructed.

My Tiggy she's very picky she loves these soups but she only licks the soups and leaves the meat so I use the meat for the outside cats that I also feed homeless cats outside she is so picky that's the only thing she will eat is just the gravy now I've bought her the gravy packets and she won't eat it she just wants the frisky soups gravy like I buy the little bowls if your kid is picky you need to give it a try because I rescued her and she's just adorable but she is so picky and she's from outside she's outside cats

I recently adopted 2 "super senior" cats whose owner had passed away. One was supposedly a "hospice cat," expected to go any day due to the severe malnourishment he was suffering (he has no teeth and the person taking care of him while his owner was in hospice was only giving dry food he couldn't eat). Well, he's still with me, eating wet food, but I needed to find a supplement "snack" for him. He rejected all other lickable treats but a gal told me she gives her senior these L'il Soups. Bingo! I can mash the bits of salmon or tuna to make it even easier on him. Of course, my other 7 cats want it as well so I need to give a dab to occupy them while he laps up his. Chewy makes providing these L'il Soups affordable.
